Kaleidoscope- The Marketing Case Study

We all know about what a Kaleidoscope is. The mirrors present in a Kaleidoscope reflect light to create multiple patterns. These patterns are randomly generated. As marketing enthusiasts, we must learn to embrace the random. We, the members of Vishwast- The Marketing Club of BITS Pilani proudly present a case study event that aims at extracting multiple facets of thoughts and multiple perspectives about a single consideration.

As budding marketing professionals, we must be equipped with the ability to accept situations as they come and think creatively to laterally about how to solve any problem. Those days of being linear are gone. This day needs millennials to be spiraling out to dimensions never reached before and come up with innovative yet appropriate solutions.

Kaleidoscope is an event for those who seek an uncanny pleasure in knocking every nerve in their brains to come up with amazing and appropriate solutions. The participating teams can win prizes worth ten thousand.

The event will be split up into 3 rounds.

  • Round 1: The first round will happen on D2C which comprises a quiz on recent marketing trends, mergers, and acquisitions, brand-related questions, marketing jargon related questions, questions on famous Marketing Gurus, etc.

  • Round 2: The chosen teams would participate in the second round that comprises of a case study analysis. A case would be given to the participating teams for analysis.

  • Round 3: And the third round would consist of a presentation round for 15 minutes in which the participating teams would present their analysis followed by questions from the jury and the audience.

Today the advent of social media is being experienced like never before. We the members of  Vishwast- The Marketing Club believe that assimilating what we to transcend to the higher level is the highest form of innovation. Hence, there is an additional task of making a product viral on social media that would be considered to a great deal. Teams can creatively post about the fest, the event, and their experience and win amazing merchandise. The competing teams can also make creative ads and post them on designated platforms that would be given to them.

Harnessing social media is not new to us. Being the millennials of the modern era we know the game of social media exceptionally well. The more you promote the more you have a chance of winning the event.

A team can comprise of 4 people max. How they decide to promote the product given to them is completely up to them. The accommodation to all the competing teams will be provided inside the campus. The competing participants also have an advantage of witnessing Interface 2020’s other events.

The ultimate opportunists grab every opportunity to win! This event not only has its share of merchandises but also ample amount to experiential learning.
